Actually, the actor’s elder brother Ayazuddin has been arrested.

According to DNA report, Nawazuddin’s brother was taken into custody by Budhana police in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, May 22. He has been arrested on suspicion of forgery. It is being told that Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brother had allegedly issued an order letter from the District Magistrate Court to the Consolidation Department illegally.
This was done in connection with an ongoing agricultural land dispute with a man named Javed Iqbal. However, it was later discovered that the order issued was fake. Following this, the district magistrate filed a complaint and a case was registered against Ayazuddin under sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the year 2018, Ayazuddin Siddiqui was also accused of hurting religious sentiments by sharing an allegedly objectionable photo on social media. Regarding this, Ayazuddin had told ANI, “A man posted a derogatory picture of Lord Shiva, I talked to him about it and wrote that you should not share such posts which can hurt someone’s religious sentiments. “Instead, a case should be registered against me.”

Amidst all this, some time ago Nawazuddin Siddiqui was also in the headlines for his separation from his wife Alia Siddiqui. In May 2020, Alia had sent a divorce notice to the actor via WhatsApp and email alleging that there was tension in their marriage for almost 10 years. Alia had also accused Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas of violence.
